Odyssey have continued to use the White-Hot insert which is arguably one of the nicest putter inserts ever created and is used by a large majority of pros on the PGA and DP World Tours. They have matched this with the Red stroke lab shaft and a Pistol Grip. You can also change the front weight on the putter head as you are able to get Aluminium, Steel or Tungsten Weights.
The aim of the Tri-Hot 5K range is to make blade putters feel more like a mallet whilst maintaining the sleek look of a blade. The THREE model is built for putters who have a more aggressive swing arc and rotation in the stroke. The flow neck allows for more toe hang which helps with this type of putting stroke.
Using Tungsten weight, over 120 grams, Odyssey have been able to precisely position additional weight into the toe and heel of the clubface. This has allowed the Centre Of Gravity to be moved forward, which creates a better roll and performance from the face, even on the mis-hits.
