Sunice Golf, the most popular Canadian golf outerwear brand and a favourite of many both male and female Tour players, entered the golf apparel industry in 1992. The story of its success, however, dates back to the mid-1970s when the company was founded as a skiwear brand. Right back in 1976, Sunice originated. A meeting held by a clothing designer and the emergency services resulted in outerwear being created with performance and quality in mind for the outdoor enthusiasts. 1982 saw Team Canada select Sunice as the clothing of choice for their first Mount Everest climb. This was a milestone as choosing the right clothing for such a feat was a matter of life or death. 1988 Sunice enjoyed more exposure as the official supplier to the Winter Olympics. This enhanced their already great reputation as the leader in the outerwear category.
1992 was the year Sunice broke into the golf market. With a sound philosophy of creating windproof, breathable, lightweight and durable products the brand quickly made its mark in the golfing scene. 2006 saw the introduction of multi-layer performance garments. This helped with the next recognition in 2010 when yet again Sunice was awarded official supplier to the Vancouver winter Olympic games. In 2013 Sunce became the official outerwear provider to the Ladies Solheim Cup and then in 2015 to the International Presidents Cup team.
