Hello Everyone!

It doesn't seem two minutes since the release of the Titleist 913 Range. Honestly though, i was not a fan of the Titleist 910 or the 913. Obviously this was my opinion and alot of our customers benefited from it.  So hearing about the Titleist 915 Driver didn't really spark my interest.

Why did i like it so much? Its a very forgiving, very fast Golf Driver and this is the kind of technology advancement Titleist needed to get back to the top of the market and grow #teamtitleist . As i feel they have been left behind with other manufacturers changing CG locations etc.

So what is  different?

The best advancement from the 913 for me is the ARC. Which is the  technology just behind the face of the driver. Titleist are calling this the Active Recoil Technology. This offers a trampoline style effect, that fires the golf ball off the clubhead at increased speeds.

It is proven that the ARC is very effective with the fairway woods and hybrids of recent models.

The Titleist 915 Driver D2 is 460cc in size , with the Titleist 915 D3 Driver  being a smaller 445cc and a Lower and further back CG location. With this position we should see a better than average MOI, making the titleist 915 driver forgiving  on mishits.  As the majority of the market focus on a High and Forward CG location which promotes a low spinning ball flight,  consequently needing more loft.

Update 17/9/2014

At the beginning of the week i was very lucky to get a chance to hit the new Titleist 915 Driver range and create a video review  for Golfsupport TV, with  the media embargo date being the 1st October.  First opinions were that it looked gorgeous at address and i felt in control (very rare feeling for people that know me).  The most impressive thing about this driver was the forgiveness with toe and heel strikes, as they still went the distance (10 yards less than the well struck drives).  Overall a very solid driver. Update 14/10/2014

So we are 24hrs away until the retail embargo is lifted and for the first time you get to prebook and check out all the options available for the fantastic new Titleist 915 Driver range.  I am so excited to watch our customers gain yardage and confidence on the golf course. The big thing for me was the rogue shaft. It performs like an exotic expensive shaft yet it comes as standard within the range.  I haven't been the biggest Titleist fan to date but this may of just changed that.
