The TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 driver is new for 2023 and is designed to once again take on that slice and straighten it with a high launch and mid spin draw-bias to keep you on the short grass. HD stands for high draw and is designed by TaylorMade to correct those unwanted slices or heavy fades as we like to call them. This HD model is fitted with a 30g weight in the sole to aid forgiveness and optimise MOI. The new Stealth 2 HD looks out of this world, with stealth black on the crown/sole matched with red and white details on the sole to give the perfect aesthetic. The ''60X Carbon Twist Face'' name low on the face looks awesome
Standard draw-bias drivers promote a right-to-left ball flight (right-handed players) but at the expense of forgiveness. By harnessing the weight saved by the new 2-gram lighter 60X Carbon Twist Face™ and moving the asymmetric inertia generator closer to the heel of the driver, the designers at TaylorMade have been able to maintain draw bias while still creating the highest moment of Inertia or MOI in all the Stealth 2 family of drivers. This is great news for you natural slicers of the ball. The 60X means 60 layers!
This new Stealth 2 HD model sees drives tower with height and then gently curve back into the fairway with relentless regularity. This HD model comes in 9º, 10.5º and 12º options. With a 460cc maximum head profile and a total length of 45.50’’inches. The swing weight in all lofts options is D2. A big range of adjustability can be had from the 12-point sleeve to adjust loft and lie. The loft can be changed by +/- 2º from the standard loft stamped on the hosel.
TaylorMade have now completely done away with Titanium drivers, as good as they were this new and exciting 60X Carbon Twist Face™ is the future of golf woods. This carbon head is 44% lighter in weight than an equivalent titanium face. The more than impressive distance and forgiveness are achieved by using sixty layers of carbon fibre to optimise energy transfer and give consistent ball speeds across all conditions. The face is wrapped by a tough and resilient polyurethane cover with nanotexture technology. The nanotexture cover fine-tunes launch and spin for consistently long-distance drives that impress our playing partners.
