The all-new 2023 ZX7 MKII Driver gives more power where it counts – at impact. A stronger rebound frame design and dual flex zones have been designed to deliver pure energy transfer from the face to the ball. Most drivers only have one flex zone, the ZX7 MKII has two, like a spring within a spring it rebounds like a trampoline to give players of all levels added distance off the tee. The face is made from Titanium alloy which is extremely strong and light. This has allowed Srixon to make the face even thinner than before. An intricate variable face thickness flexes more at impact which contributes to the incredible distances this driver can produce.
This ZX MKII model is designed for the player who strikes a solid ball and gives mid to high workability. It gives low spin with mid-launch and medium forgiveness, so will perform best in the hands of confident ball strikers. Weight can be adjusted in the heel/toe to fine-tune ball flight preference. The head is more compact and confidence-inspiring. By swapping the 4g and 8g weights in the heel and toe you can produce more of a draw-shape shot. With a 12-position adjustable hosel, you can experiment with loft, face angle and lie angle to achieve complex shot-making if you so wish.
The fast face is down to the unique Ti51AF Titanium/Alloy construction, which gives outstanding performance and also sound. Rebound Frame adds a 10% larger COR area over the face compared to the original ZX7. This next-generation driver from Srixon brings Tour-level performance and revolutionary energy transfer that is unique to Srixon. Advanced adjustability and control to dial in your optimal performance. With a 4g and 8g toe/heel weight players can adjust their left-to-right shot shape by 5 to 6 yards. If you opt for the full range of available weights, including a 14g weight, horizontal ball flight can be changed by as much as 20 yards.
With Star Frame, a complex series of ridges and latticework provide high structural integrity, this ultra-light design gives ideal launch and spin characteristics. Off-centre strikes are met with remarkable consistency that any golfer will be ecstatic with. For this MKII generation, the face pattern is 0.25mm thinner at the centre and 0.4mm thicker around the perimeter. These new refinements add even more COR across the entire face. Highly recommended.
