These all-new G430 Max HL fairway woods from Ping are designed to help slower-swinging golfers of all abilities achieve greater distances with the lighter-weight head system, ultra-lightweight Alta Quick 35g or 45g shafts and the Lamkin UTx 41g grip. There is also a lighter 5.5-gram swing weight to match slower swing speeds. This fairway wood target golfers with around 75mph swing speeds and will help golfers obtain greater distances. This is the Max model, ultimate forgiveness with High Launch (HL). This model is so easy to hit, it would take a really ropey strike to end up with a bad result.
All the same technology as all the G430 range but with a 15% lighter construction and ultra-lightweight shaft to help any level of golfer swing faster. In Ping testing, the model gained on average an extra 9 yards off the tee, this can’t be sniffed at. The targeted clubhead speed for these new fairway woods is 75mph, or close to that number to give astonishing distance gains. The new 2023 aesthetics are fantastic, the familiar matt black but with new silver and yellow detailing on show on the sole. The adjustability of the new G430 Max HL is awesome, the hosel has 8 loft and lie adjustments to fine-tune ball flight.
