Here at Golf Support we strongly believe that loyalty is earned and not expected.The original Golf Support company was established over a decage ago, initially by John Lines, a PGA Advanced Professional. The store was ran from Buxton and High Peak Golf Club in Derbyship. After 2 years here the site had grown in demand and a decision was made to open a new High Street outlet in his home town of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The new store at this time undertook all internet responsibilities whilst John maintained his roll as Head Professional for a further 12 months.
As the site developed further a decision was made to both cease as Head Professional and also separate the Internet store and the high street business by acquiring a new 70,000 square feet warehouse alongside the store.
As of 2023, we've now moved out of Mansfield, and have been acquired by Austen Group Limited trading as Golf Support. With a store, a showroom and a warehouse, ur team has grown from 1 to 15 in this period with 3 further outsourced companies assisting in the ongoing developments of Golf Support.
We have formed a very close working relationship with all of our manufacturers and we are very proud to be Authorised Online Partners with all of them. This gives the comfort to all our customers of genuine products with appropriate manufacturer warranties.
Our store boasts a state-of-the-art Swing Studio utilising the highest specification fitting equipment available from all of our manufacturing partners.
With the use of the market leading GC2 unit from Foresight Sports, our dedicated PGA Professionals offer unbiased custom club fitting, ball fitting, gap testing and tuition.
People will travel for professional unbiased fitting advice and we are again very proud to have welcomed many customers - not just locally but from the many regions of the UK, as well as some European travellers.
