Cobra engineers have worked closely with HP to transition from metal jet (Metal 3D printing) to Multi-jet (Nylon 3D Printing) the weight-saving benefits are massive, halving the mass of aluminium. The stunning and intricate 3D printed lattice would not be possible using traditional manufacturing methods. The lattice cartridge serves as a supporting structure to the body and dampens vibrations and fine-tune sound acoustics.
The Agera putter provides exceptional stability and roll consistency on off-centre hits. This incredible feat is achievable using a 3D printed nylon lattice cartridge, a 261-gram steel chassis, a 27 gram forged aluminium crown and 53 grams of tungsten weighting on the perimeter extremities to further increase MOI. The intricate 3D printed lattice cartridge removes unnecessary mass from the centre of the putter and allows it to be re-distributed to the perimeter. Like other putters in the Cobra King 3D printed series, the Agera also features the new and innovative SIK face insert with descending lofts, 4,3,2,1 degrees to ensure the most consistent launch off the putter face for every style of individual putting stroke. The exciting partnership is born out of hard work from SIK golf and Cobra brand ambassador and US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau. A 41” Inch Armlock also available in the Agera model, and comes with a special oversize Lamkin Sinkfit CONNECT grip for players that prefer to rest the grip and shaft against their lead forearm during the stroke. The SIK face insert on the Armlock model is designed with slightly higher descending lofts (7º, 6º, 5º, 4º) to account for forward shaft lean in an Armlock setup.
