According to research by Brandwatch, more than 1.9 BILLION people log into YouTube every month.

Thanks to the platform’s popularity, uploaded videos have the potential to be worth THOUSANDS of pounds – especially if they have a high view count or engagement rate.

Golfsupport.com decided to experiment with this concept to determine the most popular golf swing video on YouTube* - and the video earning the most money!

In fact, through golf swing video analysis, Golfsupport.com was able to find out the estimated total earnings** of 30 YouTube clips featuring the world’s greatest golfers!

THE RESULTS: The most popular golf swing video on YouTube - and the video earning the most money!

THE HIGHLIGHTS:

Golf clubs at the ready… Professional golfer Sergio Garcia takes the number one spot, with an almost perfect golf swing video!

This is probably due to the nature of Garcia’s most-viewed YouTube video. In the clip recorded at Bay Hill, Garcia can be seen making an extraordinary one-handed shot from a TREE.

So far, this video has been viewed 8,917,464 times, which gives it an estimated worth of £12,582.

In second place is Tiger Woods, showing off golf drivers in a montage of the top-10 shots of his career on the PGA tour. This clip has been viewed over 8 million times and is worth an estimated £11,535.

Ranking in third is a slow motion clip of Luke Donald taking a swing. (4,191,568 views/£5,914.)

Followed by Ben Hogan in fourth place (4,038,316 views/£5,698) and Rory McIlroy (2,352,587 views/£3,319) in fifth.

HOWEVER, at the other end of the scale, is Babe Zaharias in last place.

The most-viewed golf swing video of multi-talented American athlete Babe Zaharias is estimated to be worth just £36 on YouTube. Followed by clips of Walter Hagen (33,986 views/£48) and Gene Sarazen (35,908 views/£50.)
