Nike Engage Wedges 2015

Well, I had the absolute pleasure of seeing these a couple of months back at Archerfield Links which is now a Nike Performance Fitting Centre. It's a gorgeous place and the service and facilities make you feel like an actual Nike Tour Athlete. If you would like more information on this just drop me an email to info@golfsupport.com.

Anyway, Nike have produced the 'short game' story for 2015 with a huge focus being on the putters and wedges which is Converge putters and Engage wedges. I recently reviewed the Nike Engage Dual Wedge, Nike Engage Square Wedge and the Nike Engage Toe Sweep Wedge. Nike have worked very hard with the Nike Athletes on tour to create the best wedges possible in real golf situations that they face. With Tiger Woods having input in the Square sole, Michelle Wie and Rory Mcilory with the Toe sweep and Rory and Tiger on the Dual Sole. So the best in the world have basically created a wedge that they think we will make them dominate on tour. Sounds good for our weekend fiddles then ;).

Sorry...  Apart from being an idiot as per usual, I did really enjoy these Engage wedges. I find it very hard to get excited about short game hardware but i can assure you this is the closest I will ever get to excited. Brilliant feel and you can 'drop is on a sixpence' as they say.

So a square sole is designed for a square clubface. The toe sweep helps keep the clubface open through difficult lies and the Dual sole allows you to manipulate the clubface for an array of shots.

If you like back spin then you will love this, as they feature a 400% rougher face thanks to the Tour Garnet Black Technology.

So if you have any more questions send me an email to info@golfsupport.com.
