Each and every iron is 5 times forged from 8620 soft carbon steel, a tight grain is then achieved for strength and to significantly prolong the lifespan of the grooves. The appearance and feel is also very noticeable. The irons come in a choice of two finishes, a lovely premium chrome or a new Xtreme dark option. This diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating creates a hard, graphite-like carbon-based coating that significantly extends the lifespan of the club. DLC is a premium three-layer process which includes a chromium base, carbon-chrome mid layer and high carbon top layer. Precision weighting technology means that the one heavy weight located in the rear of the clubhead allows golfers to fully experiment with numerous head configurations during a personal fitting. XCOR2 is now fully established by PXG, resulting in extreme face deflection and monumental ball speeds. This polymer core material is extremely lightweight to reduce the mass of the core.
