In March 2022, we will see the launch of the new Powakaddy CT8 GPS and Powakaddy CT8 GPS EBS to replace the Powakaddy CT6, both coming with the standard and extended lithium batteries. Will the Powakaddy CT8 have any different features to the Powakaddy CT6, maybe a sleeker, more compact design? Surely not, as the CT6 was truly game changing with its ability to invert the wheels to save even more space. A minor inconvenience on the previous models was that the battery had to be charged in a specific way, maybe Powakaddy will have addressed this on the new CT8, for a smoother, all-round experience. 

Powakaddy are also bringing a new trolley to the table with the launch of the Powakaddy RX1 Remote. Since this is a brand-new model, for all we know, we could see a whole reconstruction of the previous products. At the very least, we would hope to see a higher quality screen with more refined, intelligent features including the GPS from previous models. Wouldn’t it be game changing if the remote covered a wider range for when you cross the other side of the fairway, helping your mate look for their lost ball? This trolley could hold new features that would be worth waiting for, only time will tell.
