CUSTOM FITTING FOR WOMEN’S CLUBS
We take the need for custom-fitting golf clubs very seriously. We provide a custom-fitting experience for golfers of all ages, genders and golfing abilities to ensure the golf clubs you add to your bag are tailored to get the maximum from your game. In your custom-fitting, our PGA professionals use their years of experience combined with the reliable data of our Trackman 4 Launch Monitor to build bespoke club head and shaft options for maximum optimisation in your golf bag.
The search for distance is not limited to the men’s game. Female golfers at all levels are looking to add yards from the tee with no compromise in their ability to hit the fairway. Innovation in women’s Drivers and lightweight shaft options make updating the options in the top of your bag a requirement to keep up.
Ladies Fairway Woods
For better accuracy from the tee or to attack longer holes from the fairway, getting the right fairway woods in the bag is an important choice. Offering a full range of shaft and clubhead options, our stock of women’s fairway woods can be customised to build a club to meet your exact needs.
Ladies Hybrids & Irons
After leaving the teeing ground, the next task is to get closer to pins. With iron sets designed with accuracy and consistency, you can aim for flags with confidence no matter what iron is in your hand. For those longer shots into greens, hybrids are an excellent addition to women’s golf bags to replace trickier longer irons. Women’s hybrids are available in most brands from 3 iron to 6 iron giving you complete customisation across your bag.
What are the differences between men’s and women’s golf clubs?
Women’s golf clubs are generally shorter and lighter than men’s golf clubs although, with the advancements in custom-fitting technology, this is now very dependent on the player. The largest factors in this are the player's wrist-to-floor measurement and the speed of the golf swing. As a generic rule, female golfers have a shorter wrist-to-floor measurement and slower swing speeds requiring shorter clubs often with slightly more loft to them.
Why are women’s golf clubs more expensive?
Women’s golf clubs are in most cases a similar price to men’s for comparable clubs. The main difference is that women’s irons are almost exclusively made with graphite shafts to make them lighter and easier to swing. Graphite shafts come at an additional cost in both the men’s and women’s ranges in most major golf brands giving the perception that women’s golf clubs come at a higher price point.
