The TaylorMade Spider GTX Armlock putter is now with us and comes with a newly designed 6061 aluminium body, tour-proven Pure Roll 2 face insert and an advanced True Path™ alignment aid. All this is to ensure your putting statistics stay low and you have the power to beat your playing partners on a regular basis.
This Armlock model comes with precision weighting and a popular single-bend KBS 120 Chrome stepped shaft for a nice flowing and face-balanced putter. The Spider GTX Armlock is crafted from a hollowed-out 1061 aluminium body, pushing weight to the perimeter for improved stability. The back bar is now heavy stainless steel, accounting for a large portion of the putter’s overall mass. This armlock model gives the impression of being low to the ground, inspiring confidence in every stroke. It also resists twisting at impact for super consistent results.
The Tour-proven Pure Roll 2 face insert gives improved end-over-end roll and consistency. This insert is manufactured of black TPU Urethane with striking silver beams at a 45º angle, this is designed to further improve topspin across the face. Every TaylorMade Spider GTX putter is designed for pure performance, giving you that all-important edge on the putting greens.
This is the single bend shaft option, it is unique in the fact that the shaft is the part that bends on the shaft and not on the hosel. A great choice for golfers with a straight back and through strokes. Face-balanced to keep the head square at impact with the ball. This is matched with the KBS 120 Chrome stepped shaft for a nice flowing and face-balanced putter.
The True Path™ alignment system on the top of the Spider GTX has been optically engineered to improve alignment, this makes it much easier to line putts up and start them on their intended line. A solid investment that will pay dividends on the putting greens and make the difference between winning and losing.
