As with all the PXG Gen6 drivers, fairway woods and hybrids, you get two different models. You can choose the standard model or the more forgiving model such as this PXG 0311 XF Gen6 hybrid. You will certainly get away with off-centre strikes compared to long irons. The 0311 XF Gen6 is the latest offering from PXG for 2023, ultimately designed to give the utmost forgiveness to all skill levels. These 0311 XF Gen6 hybrids present a clean-looking and confidence-inspiring aesthetic with all of PXG's advanced technology to help you achieve those shots that you are normally wary of. If you are putting a hybrid or hybrids in the bag, make sure it’s the PXG XF Gen6. You get incredible forgiveness married with versatility from virtually any lie.
The 0311 XF Gen6 model is ultimately designed to give the utmost forgiveness to all skill levels. These hybrids come with all of PXG's advanced technology inbuilt to lower scores. A railed sole geometry and squared face profile give zoned-in accuracy on those shots that don't come out of the centre of the club. This mid-spinning option will provide awesome distance with that iconic PXG sound and feel.
The lightweight AM335 body is high-strength and coupled with a tall HT1770 stainless steel face for increased deflection and even more ball speed. The squared face is aesthetically pleasing and shifts the perimeter skirt vertically, increasing the surface area to give total forgiveness. The crown of the club is made entirely from lightweight carbon fibre. This high-strength material saves mass in the crown that is then redistributed lower and to the perimeter of the club. An optimal centre of gravity is achieved for even greater forgiveness.
Three two interchangeable weights in the sole of the hybrid give the player options in flight and bias of the club. One 2.5-gram and one heavier 15-gram weight come as standard. Weights are available to purchase separately in 2.5, 5, /7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5 and 20 grams to adjust the overall head mass. Weight kits are available to purchase separately so you can experiment with settings and find the setting that is right for your own game.
PXG's adjustable hosel can be changed to suit your own game, it can be adjusted +/- 1 ½ degrees up or down from the standard setting. This can be useful on winder days when you want to flight the ball down, or on the other hand, when you want more air time with a higher setting. The number of each hybrid replaces the same number iron, 2 iron – 2 hybrid etc. Each hybrid comes with a newly designed Gen6 headcover in a pebble black matte finish. This features an internal QuickStart™ cart magnet to attach to the metal parts of a cart or trolley.
