One of the first things you'll notice when you look at these clubs is the wider sole design. This confidence-inspiring design also comes with a name. It is the new Cap Back design from TaylorMade. The Cap Back is a multi-material bit of engineering which has a variety of functions. It combines High Strength Stainless Steel and Ultralightweight polyers. These work together to maximise distance and forgiveness. The Cap Back provides an incredibly low CG which will help to make your bad shots less frequent, and your best shots better.
The Stealth HD Irons are also in a draw bias flight. This is to help make sure your flights become more consistent and to get your bad shots on one side. They also provide a great, high launch. Not only will this help distance, but it will help you get the ball in the air quicker, and promote a softer landing, due to the ball coming down on a steeper descent.
Inside the Stealth HD Heads is the ECHO-Damping system. A great idea from TaylorMade which will help to reduce harsh vibrations in the club head, which in turn gives them a forged-like soft feel. This is done by a polymer blend across multiple contact points in the club head, channelling away those vibrations.
Once again the Speed Pocket comes into play. This Patented technology from TaylorMade maximises face flexibility and increases ball speed for added distance. It also helps add more forgiveness to mishit shots, especially those low off the face. It will help poor strikes maintain their distance, making sure you get as close to your target as possible every time.
