This brilliantly balanced set comes with new and exciting technologies to push iron play even further than ever before. A new patented core material in the shape of XCOR2 is implemented and designed specifically for the new Gen5 iron range. This polymer core material is extremely lightweight and helps reduce the mass of the core. More weight can then be positioned low and to the perimeter of the back of the clubface for massive gains in terms of forgiveness. Combined with ultra-thin face technology, extreme face deflection and fastball speeds are put into reality. Each and every iron is 5x forged from 8620 soft carbon steel, a tight grain is then achieved for the strength and to significantly prolong the lifespan of the grooves. The appearance and feel of the iron is also very noticeable using this forged process. The irons come in a choice of two finishes, a lovely premium chrome or a new Xtreme dark option. The dark option is a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that creates a hard, graphite-like carbon-based coating that extends the lifespan of the club in terms of durability. DLC is a premium three-layer process that includes a chromium base, carbon-chrome mid layer, and high carbon top layer. This ultimate wear-resistance and gorgeous look will most certainly be appreciated across the board.

All 0311 Gen5 irons go through a precise robotic polishing process and robotic laser welding process, this creates an extremely tight manufacturing process that gives consistent sole and face perimeter geometry. Robotic laser welding the face around the perimeter of the club reduces the heat-affected zone and gives high strength and an exacting attachment method.
A U-shaped corridor is built into the internal surface of the face. This power channel technology increases deflection and bend in the top section of the face. The sound from the face is typically PXG, nothing quite feels and sounds like these new 0311 Gen5 irons.
