The XF model is ultimately designed to give the utmost forgiveness to all skill levels. These 0311 XF Gen5 hybrids present a clean-looking and confidence-inspiring aesthetic with all of PXG's advanced technology inbuilt and ready to lower scores. A railed sole geometry and squared face profile give zoned-in accuracy on those shots that don't come out the centre of the club. This mid-spinning option will provide an awesome distance with that iconic PXG sound and feel.
The lightweight AM335 body is high-strength and coupled with a tall HT1770 stainless steel face for increased deflection and even more ball speed. The squared face is aesthetically pleasing and shifts the perimeter skirt vertically, increasing the surface area to boost forgiveness.
The crown of the club is made entirely from a new and super-lightweight carbon fibre material. This high-grade material saves mass in the crown that is then redistributed lower and to the perimeter of the club. The optimal centre of gravity is achieved for even greater forgiveness. The company's groundbreaking aluminium vapor technology increases the overall stiffness and stability of the crown, reinforcing the face when the ball is hit. This process is conducted in a vacuum-sealed chamber.
Three interchangeable weights in the sole of the hybrid give the player options in flight and bias of the club. One 2.5gram and two heavier 10 gram weights come as standard. Weights are available in 2.5/5/7.5/10/12.5/15/17.5/20 grams to adjust the overall head mass. Weight kits are available to purchase separately so you can experiment with the setting and find the setting that is right for you.
PXG's adjustable hosel can be changed to suit your own game, it can be adjusted +/- 1 ½ degrees up or down from the standard setting. This can be useful on winder days when you want to flight the ball down, or on the other hand you want more air time with a higher setting.
