TSR1 (Titleist Speed Refined) has an ultra-thin Aerospace Grade Titanium crown allowing weight to be moved to give a lower centre of gravity. This driver offers higher launch with mid-spin to maximise the distance from the tee box. The TSR1 driver features super lightweight components and a new nearly perfect face-centred centre of gravity. The shaping of the head has been refined for further increased clubhead speed. The head is made from aerospace-grade titanium that produces the loveliest sound and feel.
Increased ball speeds are observed over the entire surface of the new multi-plateau VFT face, not just heel and toe strikes but also high and low hits. Each club is individually tested to exact tolerances, this ensures you will be getting a driver that is the best it can possibly be. Of course, a driver that fits better performs better, so the Titleist Surefit hosel is again fitted on the TSR1 Driver. This SureFit system allows you or a professional club fitter to find the perfect performance from your own individual swing. It does this by allowing you to either increase or decrease the loft and/or lie of the club. The loft can be increased/decreased by 1.5 degrees from the loft marked on the hosel. The shaft of choice for this year's model is the ultra-lightweight MMT™ SPEEDMESH shaft. which has been painstakingly optimised to deliver new levels of speed and distance. This is a beautiful driver from Titleist, the designers have yet again made significant improvements over previous generations.
