The latest range of Stealth 2 golf clubs are once again an immense feat of golf club engineering and will add to the performance of any golfer.
The New Stealth 2 HD Women's Rescue is a fantastic-looking club. Once again they have gone with the Chrome-Looking metal alongside a medium grey finish. From address, these hybrids inspire confidence, with a good size body and a larger overall profile. The larger body helps to push the CG lower and deeper into the club head which allows for a great high launch. This high launch will help both distance and control, creating softer landings on the green, helping you hold more of them. The lofts are also slightly higher too, which again will help you with pin-seeking from distance.
The variable face thickness - something TM have been implementing for a while now - helps to maximise ball speeds all across the face. This means any miss hit shots will come off at nearly the same speed as pure strikes, helping to minimise any drop-off in distance that occurs from poor shots. Durability of the club faces is also improved with the VFT. The Twist Face has also been implemented in the new Rescue, which really helps to keep poor shots on line better, and give you a better chance of hitting your targets, even when your strike may not be 100%.
The old TaylorMade V-Steel was an iconic club, and one that lasted in many peoples bags for a long time, and probably still exists in the odd bag nowadays. The wood was so iconic as it was a powerful and forgiving club, that also had fantastic workability due to the innovative sole. Once again this sole has been reimagined, keeping some of the best bits, and improving areas that could do with a tweak. Now this V-Steel sole has even better turf interaction and versatility, giving you more confidence to shape shots, as well as trust it off any lie you need it for.
The Speed Pocket has once again been implemented. Another bit of tech that TaylorMade have full confidence in, given how many clubs it has been in over the years. The Speed Pocket is engineered to create maximum ball speeds off the face, adding that extra bit of distance to your game. It also helps to keep low-face strikes fast, but also forgiving. Low Strikes tend to spin up more and lose a fair bit of distance, but the speed pocket will help to minimise this.
