It’s been 3 years since the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Special Select Putter has seen an upgrade, so fans of the brand have been waiting with bated breath for this Super Select design to come along and astonish us once again. This 2023 model sees greater performance than anything before it. With new face milling technologies, refined shaping, cutting-edge weight distribution and new I-Beam neck design you get plenty of new tech to carry on finding the bottom of the cup. The Special select Newport 2 emerges again as the flagship model blade putter. This popular design retains its tri-sole design as before but comes with a new tour-inspired I-Beam plumbing neck for more precise weighing and a sexier look.
The new dual-milled face is proven to give better results from any distance from the pin. This process brings the softness and feedback to a whole new level. After a deep milled pass across the putter face, a second pass levels the peaks to produce significantly improved ball/face contact. The three dots in the back flange have been changed from cherry-red to silver mist in all Super Select 2023 Newport models. These colour-free cavity dots will split opinion we feel, but we like them.
The Newport 2 is available in both right and left hand variations, with total lengths being 33” 34” 35” inches, also with 3.5 loft for a consistent smooth roll. Comes with a newly designed and textured Pistolini Plus grip with a thicker lower section for added feel. The new 2023 Super Select Newport 2 comes with an all-new and revamped embroidered headcover with superior wear, UV sun protection and high abrasion characteristics.
The new I-Beam plumbing neck gives a medium toe flow which works best for golfers that have a balanced naturally flowing putting stroke. This model is another stunning variation from the Super Select Newport range that oozes class and elegance.
