The Mustang Battle Ready putter is named after the American long-range, single seat fighter used in World War II. The heel shafted hosel will give the Mustang blade-style putter considerably more toe hang. Optimal for players that tend to over rotate the clubhead at impact. This shaft will give stability and control to players with over active and turning wrists. Helping golfers keep a square clubhead during impact with the ball.
The Battle Ready Mustang putter is a blade-style design with a different look on the back flange. Weighted heel and toe ballasts give the Mustang great stability and forgiveness. This heel and toe weighting will promote a silky smooth stroke every time. A 100% bi-metal construction made with 303 stainless steel and high-density tungsten rear weights. The outer wings and golf ball width cavity give the Battle Ready Mustang putter a brilliant look. The companies' Pyramid Face Pattern gives a true roll from any distance, the optimised groove depth gives fantastic feel and initial velocity across the entire face. PXG's Pyramid Face technology is Tour-proven to give perfect launch from the face, optimal spin rates and skid distances. Distance putts are easier to gauge with this Tour-proven face technology.
The two weights in the sole of the putter can be removed and exchanged for weights in an optional kit available to buy during checkout. The kit will allow you to experiment with different weight set-ups and to find the weighting that best suits your own personal game. Weight can be changed by minus15g or plus 20g. The famous Darkness Insignia skull is sunk into the sole in two spots to signify Bob Parson's service with the 26th Regiment of the United States Marine Corps.
