The new 2023 G430 SFT driver is now here and ready for you to hit frozen rope shots. SFT stands for straight flight technology and is engineered by Ping to combat those undesirable fades and slices. This G430 SFT driver is engineered with draw bias weighting and a lighter swing weight to help bring shots back on line and into the fairway where we all need to be to score lower. If your game suffers from the dreaded slice, as many golfers do, it's time to act now and put that right. As with all Ping drivers, the aesthetics are stunning with the matt black, subtle silver and yellow detailing and those incredible-looking crown turbulators all on show.
The G430 driver now comes with a 2-position centre of gravity (CG) shifter. This shifter gives up to 13 yards of bend in the draw setting and a further 7 yards in the draw + setting. This is a 22g back weight. There is also a new internal rib structure to further improve sound frequencies, the ball impact is an experience in itself. Ping has also improved the curvature of the crown, skirt and sole to help get the desired sound.
The G430 SFT T9S+ forged face is of variable face thickness to deliver high ball speeds. Thanks to a unique heat-treating process, this delivers a higher-strength face area. This surface is precision machined for maximum flexing. This benefits those inevitable off-centre strikes greatly. The adjustability of the new G430 is fantastic, the hosel on the driver has 8 loft and lie adjustments to fine-tune ball flight. If you need to straighten out your driving this G430 SFT driver is the smart choice.
