Description

Cobra isn't afraid to do things differently and that shows in the new 2023 Aerojet range of irons. Golfers who are serious about their sport and are keen on lowering scores need irons that give distance and forgiveness as a priority, so enter the new Cobra Aerojet One Length Steel irons. This new 2023 offering from Cobra is fast, very fast! And fun to hit with an explosive feel and sound that will ignite the senses. Cobra has reported selling in excess of 43,000 sets of One Length irons since 2017. So clearly there are more people gaming them other than Bryson DeChambeau.

All the same features found in the standard Aerojet irons are here in the One Length clubs. At 37.25 inches in length, every iron is exactly the same length so the golfer only needs to learn one repeatable swing to get better and consistent contact. 37.25 inches is the typical length of a standard 7-iron. This new design is sublime and is elevated by the satin chrome finish and red, white and blue details. These look even better up close and personal, very easy on the eye. The set is more advanced on every level. Its modest price tag is quite unbelievable when you weigh up all the added technology.

Cobra’s latest game-improvement iron set features a 70g steel bar sat just behind the face to lower the centre of gravity or COG. The 70g steel weight runs from the heel to toe and is suspended directly behind the hitting zones. This encourages higher launch with every iron in the bag and also gives a nice feel and sound with the polymer wrapped around the weight to eradicate any harsh vibrations. No matter where you hit the ball off the face, high, low, heel or toe you can expect more forgiveness than ever before. The 431 stainless steel body and thin, high-strength forged 17-4 face come together to give a lovely feel and crisp sound at impact. H.O.T FACE technology has 15 optimised zones to boost ball speeds and to maintain speed when those inevitable mishits come along. Up to 3.5 yards of added distance can be expected when the ball is flushed out of the centre of the club.

The generous yet appealing head size will appeal to many mid-to-high handicap golfers, whilst a white bottom groove line will provide nice alignment assistance. These fall into the game-improvement category with the slightly larger head size, slightly thicker top line and modest offset. Cobra has cleverly chamfered both sides of the top edge to make it look more smaller and more appealing. This Aerojet One Length steel iron set aims to be one of the best buys in 2023 and we agree entirely.
