The original Monza Spider putter was released back in 2008, since then the range has gone on to become one of the best selling and most widely used putters of all time. The TaylorMade Spider EX is destined to be every bit as successful due to the countless hours of research and development that have gone into this stunning putter, all of which the golfer benefits from. The original Itsy Bitsy Spider's 20% smaller frame set the course for the size of the modern-day line-up. For more than a decade, only small adjustments have been made to this fantastic putter range.

Many golfers love the look and design of the Flow Neck, claiming that they can see more of the ball at the address position. Also, the thought of the stroke can be secondary, instead just concentrating on being neutral. The timeless Spider design is Tour-proven and optimises stability and alignment. The Spider EX has a high resistance to twisting at impact, making the Spider EX range ultra-forgiving. You won't get such excellent stability and forgiveness in one club.

The Spider EX is engineered with premium materials for uncompromising performance. Using a combination of multi-materials like heavy Tungsten in the back weights create a deep Centre of Gravity for better distance control. Lightweight aluminium and composite create better performance advantages around the circumference of the head. Heavy steel is strategically co-moulded on the frame at the toe and heel to optimise stability. The slightly more streamlined head design features softer lines and a more rounded backside. The Spider EX head shape is slightly larger by 3.5mm (heel to toe) and 2.7mm (front to back) than the Spider X. 20g, 25g and 30g Tungsten back weights (two per head) support the deep CG and incredible stability. The weighting differs depending on the shaft length. The steel side weights (2x 28g) are strategically placed around the circumference of the lightweight frame for increased MOI. (Moment of Inertia) Distance control and feel are incredible, even as you stray from the middle of the face.

White is the most reflected colour, that is why it is present in this gorgeous Spider EX flow neck putter. White enables the human eye to clearly see the ball path. The new three-dot design on top of the putter allows players to centre the golf ball exactly. The three dots form a distinguishable pattern that's easily tracked by the eyes, aiding in both alignment and intended path while delivering gorgeous aesthetics Aiming is simplicity itself. Allowing you to see the intended target line clearly without being distracted in any way. The company looked at more than 10,000 putts from 12 feet to conclude that golfers strike the ball towards the toe of the putter two-thirds of the time.

The True Path alignment system has been optically engineered to maximise alignment making it so much easier to line putts up and start them on the intended line. The first co-moulded insert is made of white TPU urethane with silver aluminium beams set at a 45º angle. The Pure Roll 2 insert gives a greater and softer feel which adds up to a better roll when the ball is struck. The white Pure Roll insert creates better symmetry with the white True path 3 dot alignment, the huge sweet spot spans the entire face. The face provides 3º of loft and the lie is set at 70º with the head weighing 352 grams. Fitted with the new TaylorMade Fluted Feel shaft is reported to give less deflection and more stability, allowing you to swing along the intended swing path much easier. This shaft is newly engineered with a softer section located about 5 inches from the tip, intently designed to enhance feel and increase stability while tightening dispersion. The Super Stroke GTR 1.0 Grip in Grey/Black/White or Grey/Black/Red/White is available. Colour choices are Platinum/White or Ghost White, all three look stunning.
