Cobra's new F-max superlite fairway woods benefit from a lighter clubhead, shaft and grip than the previous F-max model. This makes a considerable difference when swinging the golf club. A lighter club means there is less resistance so the club can be swung faster. For those golfers who swing a club smoothly then is of huge benefit as it will mean you gain extra distance.
The low profile clubhead has a high strength forged steel face insert. The shallow face flexes at the point of impact allowing the ball to travel further off of the face. That allied to the lighter head and shaft that means extra distance off the tee and the fairway. The weighting in the club has been moved lower and towards the heel of the clubhead. This makes it easier to get the ball in the air promoting a higher launch and more carry. It also helps to keep the ball on line towards the target. Alignment is aided by the Cobra name on the crown of the club.
The fairway wood features new Superlite shaft. This is lighter than in the previous F max model shaft and is ideal for the golfer who has a smooth steady golf swing. The new midsize Lamkin Rel 360 grip is also lighter than before. Its soft rubber compound is built for feel and comfort.
The whole package is made to gain yardage. Lighter means more speed. More speed means extra distance. The fairway woods are ideal for both men and women, especially those with a slower, smoother swing. A must buy.
