Under Armour are well known for using the latest technology to keep the golfer warm and comfortable whilst out on the golf course and with the new men's storm Daytona ½ zip, under armour achieves this. This loose-fitting top uses Under Armour's storm technology which is a wind and water protection system that repels water but does so without losing its breathable properties. The golfer is able to stay dry even on the wettest of days. The construction of the fabric with internal air pockets allows heat to be trapped keeping you warm as well as dry. This is further enhanced by the double-knit insulation panels.

The fabric also includes moisture-wicking technology that quickly removes dampness and excess perspiration away from the skin raising the comfort levels. There are stretch panels at both shoulders which allow unrestricted movement. There are compression cuffs which stop the cuffs from riding up when swinging the club. Two side pockets can be used for storage. The Under Armour logo is displayed just below the neck on the rear. The name 'Under Armour' is displayed at the front on the left shoulder stretch panel.
