SuperStroke was made famous by K.J Choi at the AT&T National in 2007 when he used one of the very first Superstroke grips called the Fatso on his putter. The oversize grip had landed, but it wasn't until 2011 when Jason Dufner used one to win the US PGA, K.J Choi also won in the same year that this grip finally had worldwide recognition. The difference between SuperStroke and normal oversized putter grips was the no-taper technology.
