In 1995, a salesman by the name of Abbot Pederson travelled all over the United States selling as part of the Munsingwear brand. Abbot stumbled upon his idea after knocking over a Penguin ornament, during Abbot's flight back home after countless sales meetings, a stewardess placed his tie around the penguin's neck, just like that, an idea and logo was formed.
In just a few short years after this idea being created, it was being worn by the legends of the game of golf and far beyond: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Arnold Palmer, and Clint Eastwood became synonymous with the Penguin. Fast forward to today, Original Penguin offers golf clothing that delivers style and comfortability. The slogan, made for Originals by Originals rings true with their clothing range offering a unique design and personality to the golf course
