Cobra are the masters of One Length club technology and has been since 2017 when the first One Length irons rolled off the production line in Carlsbad, California. Major winner Bryson DeChambeau uses this technology every week on tour, including his win in the U.S. Open in 2021. Having your clubs with all the shaft lengths the same allows repetition, enabling you to repeat your set-up and swing for the irons every time. That length is 37.25 inches and is the typical length of a standard 7-iron.

Cobra have just released their latest Aerojet range and it is stunning on all levels. These Aerojet One Lenght graphite irons fall into the game-improvement category and are aimed at the mid-to-high handicap golfers out there. These will appeal to a wide range of golfers with a moderately thin topline and a modest amount of offset. The new sleek design is impressive and is elevated by the satin chrome finish and red, white and blue details in the cavity back. Who wouldn't like to pull these from the bag at a weekend competition?

These come with the highly rated KBS PGI graphite shafts and look fabulous in that black/red colour scheme with stand-out graphics. Graphite is lighter than their steel counterparts so faster swing speeds can be had. This added speed turns into added yardage gains which will be welcomed by ageing golfers and players who seek extra distance.

The all-new PWR-BRIDGE internal weighting system makes a significant jump in performance gains for the Aerojet One Length graphite irons. Cobra designers have added two small posts just behind the face, these posts hold between a 63g and 70g steel weight that runs from the heel to toe and suspends it behind the face. This drives down the centre of gravity to encourage higher launch with every club in the bag.

PWR-BRIDGE, PWRSHELL and H.O.T FACE Technology are all incorporated to ensure you get all the help needed when the ball isn't struck as intended. To improve sound and feel, Cobra injects a polymer to fill the area around the PWR-BRIDGE weight to soak up excessive vibrations. This leads to a crisp feel with every strike. A massive 30% more flexion is also realised to see the ball disappear into the distance. Cobra’s trusty H.O.T FACE technology is again used and has 15 optimised zones to boost ball speeds and to maintain speed when those unwanted low on the face or toe/heel strikes happen. Consistency and accuracy from club to club. A smart choice for the mid-to-high handicap golfer in 2023.
