Callaway is a globally recognised premium brand that is always at the forefront of design and innovation. They have skilfully revamped and upgraded their Apex MB Graphite irons for the 2021 season, Muscle-backed Irons designed for the precision golfer and pure ball striker. Apex MB Irons have been used on the professional Tour for some time now and have become one of the favoured Tour Pro clubs, these True Muscle-Backed Irons are a performance-enhancing club that offers heightened feedback and responsive feel that is second to none. These new and improved 2021 Graphite irons maintain the same classic shape but with a narrower sole and a little more height in the toe, together with less offset than its predecessor.

Graphite shafted irons provide additional yardage due to the lighter construction of the shafts. Lighter shafts equal additional speed to gain those extra yards. Whilst not only looking fantastic, graphite shafts will also be beneficial for the player who has lost a few yards over the years for various reasons. PGA Tour players have also been recently seen gaming graphite shafts to great effect. Make sure you're not left behind.

Callaway’s design and technology team have put together some minor subtle changes from the original Apex MB that enhances these already remarkable clubs to bring about the ultimate players set of Irons. Firstly the new and high-performance 20V precision grooves consistently control spin from any distance from the pin, also to reduce 'fliers' from the rough or second cut. A brushed clubhead finish has replaced the chrome plating to reduce glare, which could be a problem to some golfers it was reported through feedback.

Still incorporated is the progressive CG position, by re-positioning the centre of gravity in the individual clubs, ball flights have been tweaked, meaning that the longer Irons fly higher and the shorter Irons have a lowered trajectory. The new performance-enhancing 20V precision grooves produce more consistent ball striking, even from some of the toughest lies.

The biggest, most obvious development comes in the form of a new circular Tungsten weight that is set into the centre of the clubhead. The new removable weight allows players to make changes without the need for fitters to add weight to the hosel or add lead tape etc. Simply changing out the removable weight to ensure players specifications are met. Perfect and simple for all custom building to get the exact characteristics needed for the individual.

Apex MB Graphite irons are forged with a 1025 carbon steel, this new Apex MB 2021 maintains its classic shape and thin top line that sits supremely behind the ball at address to promote confidence giving appeal to the small bladed head.
