The new King MIM wedge from Cobra has used a Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) process to produce the head for this revolutionary wedge. This process is extremely precise with tight tolerances and can be used to create shapes that other processes cannot. It gives the head a perfect shape with very little need for further shaping or polishing with the club head giving a great soft feel. Cobra are the first company to use this method to produce a club head in its entirety.
The face of the club shows a circular milling pattern which gives the precise performance needed. This has the advantage of giving sharper groove edges with the maximum amount of spin possible. Cobra use narrower, deeper grooves in the wedges with lofts 50 to 54 degrees with wider, shallower grooves in loft 56 to 60 degrees. The company say that this gives the optimum amount of spin for each of these wedges.
It is a versatile wedge that can be used to play from a variety of different lies. Whether you are in the bunker, in heavy rough or on the tightest of fairways, this wedge will produce results time after time. It comes with a KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 shaft and Golf Pride tour velvet connect grip which is suitable for the Arccos Smart sensors.
A revolutionary wedge that will give you more control into the greens.
