The new ST-Z fairway woods from Mizuno are ultimately built for total forgiveness. They are made to generate a low amount of spin and they lose very little distance from strikes not quite out the centre of the clubface. The club looks fantastic sat behind the ball at address with a new throwback profile, lovely leading edge and transition into the hosel, it looks like a fairway wood that a pro would be happy to fire down the fairway.
Re-engineered Wave technology lowers the mass contribution, allowing for higher MOI (Moment of Inertia) and lower COG (Centre of Gravity) The wave sole design and variable thickness graphite crown is lighter than traditional fairway woods with the weight saved by redistributed lower and deeper in the clubhead. This makes the structure of the clubhead extremely stable. The new MAS1C Maraging clubface with CORTECH multi-face thickness is Mizuno's fastest and hottest fairway wood face to date. Being thicker/thinner at various points, this allows for greater energy transfer to the ball at impact which in turn allows the ball to fly further and higher.
Both the 3 & 5 Woods provide 4º of loft and face angle adjustability so you can experiment with different ball flights and shape to suit your game. All stock shafts are married to suit the club perfectly, hours of painstaking research have gone into selecting just the right shafts for the flex.
