The Ping G425 LST (low spin technology) driver is primarily aimed at the lower handicap, highly skilled golfer with a slightly smaller 445cc pear-shaped head profile which delivers lower levels of spin for penetrating bullet-like drives. However, this could equally suit a higher handicap player who doesn't suffer from high-spinning slices or hooks.

This 445cc driver features a Ti 811 ultra-thin crown with advanced Internal Dragonfly Technology which improves weight savings. The weight saved in this department provides more forgiveness and distance than ever before. Ping engineers have developed an internal rib structure in the Ti 8-1-1 body, reinforcing key sections of the head to improve acoustics for a solid, pleasing sound and feel that Ping clubs are famous for. The shape of the crown and Turbulators has been re-designed for better airflow efficiency, to reduce aerodynamic drag. These bold crown Turbulators allow increased airflow for more clubhead speed, plus provides better alignment at the address point position.

As with all Ping drivers In the G425 range, the aesthetics are dream-like, stealth black with subtle silver dealing and those phenomenal looking crown turbulators, not much comes close in terms of looks. In fact, not much comes close in terms of any aspect of the driver.

A proprietary T9S+ forged face accelerates face flexing for more distance. The pear-shaped, 445cc head reduces spin by approximately 200-400 rpm compared to the previous G410 LST model, promoting a flatter, lower-launching trajectory for faster swing speeds. The head employs a 17-gram centre of gravity shifter with Draw, Neutral, Fade settings to fit your swing and desired ball flight. Available in 9° and 10.5°. Trajectory Tuning 2.0 provides a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to fully customise your preferred trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.
