The ST-X 220 is gorgeous, you will be bowled over by the matt/satin finish, flowing lines and unfussy subtle styling that golfers love. The ST-X 220 is a draw bias, mid spinning driver that will be suited perfectly to the player seeking a higher, right to left ball flight (right-handed golfers)

This heel weight focus driver will yield surprising distances, the slight draw will impart topspin for those extra yards of fairway run. The ST-X 220 will suit players with moderate swing speeds and those needing an extended ball flight. A new 20gram weight has been placed in the heel of the club for a deeper centre of gravity and more efficient and longer drives.

The ST-X 220 is also available with an ultra-lightweight HeLIUM NanoCore shaft to help senior golfers and those with slower swing speeds. Exceptional stability is achieved on off-centre strikes due to the expansion of the carbon sole area, 40% is achieved by thinning out the titanium portion and doubling the heel weight.

Mizuno's X-Axis design focuses on weight deep in the heel of the driver, which in turn promotes a higher, draw flight bias. With a more rounded 460cc profile, the X-220 gives a higher launch and mid-spin performance that mid-handicap players will appreciate. The optimised wave sole also contributes to added ball speeds, especially from low on the clubface where that help is needed the most.

The forged SAT2041 Beta Ti face and multi-thickness CORTECH design are again used to ensure ball speeds are maintained without drop-off. This Tour-proven technology keeps going from strength to strength. Mizuno put a lot of research into the sound that is produced by their drivers, the distinctive sound that is produced is Mizuno's very own unique sound. Vibration patterns that better players associate with solid feel are observed. 4º of loft setting adjustability allows personal fine-tuning of launch and trajectory.
