The Callaway Rogue Sub Zero Drivers are designed with Jailbreak, X-Face VFT and Triaxial Carbon Crown technology to produce even greater distance and ball speed. Callaway has done it again, once again using their Jailbreak technology that was introduced last year. Jailbreak technology revolutionized the stability of the clubhead at impact, during impact the face flexes and the crown bulges up and the sole bulges down wards, the jail break bars which are three gram of titanium that attach the crown to the sole to stiffen the body of the club and restrict this unwanted movement so more energy is transferred back to the ball for more efficient ball speed across a bigger area of the club face for to produce Exceptional Ball Speed.
Callaway has gone one step further in the new Rogue by adding X-Face VFT technology, Variable Face Thickness optimises the Coefficient of Restitution (COR) to the maximum performance allowed. This low spinning driver has been made possible by using the Triaxial Carbon Crown to lower the spin, this exceptional light but strong composition saves weight which has then been redistributed to align the centre of gravity.
Total control of the ball flight can be achieved with Callaway's Interchangeable Weights system, a 2-gram and a 14-gram weight is used to adjust spin-
Callaway has also teamed up with legendary aeroplane company Boeing to help with the Aerodynamics of this driver with a new boundary layer at the top-edge of the crown improves the speed by changing the air flow characters to promote faster head speed.
This high tech driver uses quality shafts that have multiple weights to suit all types of swing speeds and swing dynamics. The Rogue is fitted as standard with a Project X Even Flow but Callaway do offer a wide variety of shafts through their custom options
