The new Callaway Big Bertha Fusion Driver is the most forgiving club Callaway have ever produced. By developing a new “recipe for ultimate forgiveness” which includes a forgiving shape, a low and deep Center of Gravity, draw bias, an enhanced sweet spot area, high clubhead speed and multiple shaft lengths. The benefit of this is more forgiveness meaning a straighter flight on mis-hits, and a straighter flight nets you longer distances, drive after drive.
- Super High MOI Head Shape
- Low and Deep Centre of Gravity
- Increased Draw Bias
- Fast & Forgiving Face Design
- Fast Swing Speed
- Optimal Shaft Length
Key features of the Fusion Driver is a Titanium Exo-Cage which makes it possible to re-position weight for more forgiveness and increased swing speed to increase accuracy and distance. The deep centre of gravity location makes it much easier to launch the ball on a higher, stronger, long carrying flight. This is made possible by Callaway's innovative construction that combines Titanium Exo-Cage with Triaxial Carbon crown and sole panels, which together free up 35 grams of weight that is re-distributed in the head.
Callaway have Fused a Titanium Exo-Cage with an ultralight triaxial Carbon crown and sole, this creates more forgiveness and stability, promoting straighter and longer drives. Next generation R-Moto clubface technology expands the portion of the face that delivers fast ball speed to give you more distance on off-centre hits. It also expands the fast speed area into places where you are more likely to mis-hit the ball.
The Callaway proprietary Speed Step, designed with help from aerospace experts, reduces drag to promote faster swing speed for more distance. This new shape is longer from front to back compared to more traditionally shaped drivers. This creates a geometry that maximises head dimensions and weight which allows for an extremely deep CG location.
The Big Bertha Fusion offers an unlikely combination of lower total weight and fast head aerodynamics, allowing you to easily increase head speed without the need to swing harder. Key to this is the speed step: which is precisely shaped and positioned to improve how air flows over the crown to generate faster club head speed.
Two High Performance Stock Shaft Options:
- UST’s first ever Recoil driver shaft is designed to load energy on the downswing and unload with an extraordinary combination of power and precision through impact.
- Mitsubishi’s Diamana Red shaft combines a firm midsection and active tip to promote high launch, low spin and fast ball speed, and to make it easier to hit a distance-enhancing draw.
Available in stock 45.5” (Standard) and 44.5" lengths.
