Callaway Chrome Soft X Triple Track Golf Balls
In 2018, Callaway introduced their new Chrome Soft 'X' golf balls which were a massive success. Building on that success, they have introduced the Triple Track technology to this ball. The Chrome Soft 'X' still benefits from having the outer core of the ball infused with Graphene. This is an extremely light yet exceptionally strong material that brings untold strength to the outer core without making sacrifices to the feel of the ball. This allows the core of the ball to be slightly larger which helps with increased ball speed.
Callaway claim that Graphene dual core aids with a higher launch and lower spin with the driver and gives an improved ball flight consistency. Mid to short irons exhibit greater distance and more control whilst giving better short game spin control.
Triple track technology features 3 lines on the golf ball which run parallel to each other. The centre line of the 3 lines appears slightly thicker than the outer 2 lines and is in red whilst the outer lines are blue. The lines are placed on the ball to make the alignment easier and therefore make it more accurate. Phil Mickelson used this technology, albeit on Callaway's ERC ball, to win this year Pro- Am at Pebble Beach. Callaway are now introducing Triple Track on the Chrome Soft 'X'. You can expect to see the difference in your game.
